At HLICE, we are committed to delivering high-quality, beginner-friendly software development training as well as custom software development services. To ensure clarity and transparency, we’ve outlined our return and refund policies below for both our training courses and custom development services.

1. Software Development Training Courses:

No Returns or Refunds After Course Completion

Once a course has been:

  • Fully accessed by the student
  • Completed (all modules/lessons marked as "done")
  • Certificate delivered (either digitally or physically)

We are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for the course.

Why Returns Are Not Accepted for Courses:

Our courses are considered digital intellectual property. Once you've accessed the content, we can't offer returns, because:

  • Digital Products: They cannot be returned like physical items.
  • Consumable Content: Courses and materials are designed to be used quickly after purchase.
  • Exclusive Access: Includes valuable downloadable resources, private access to materials, and certificates.

Return & Refund Policy (Before Course Completion):

You may request a refund only under the following conditions:

  • You have accessed no more than 15% of the course
  • You have not downloaded any course materials
  • Your refund request is made within 72 hours of your purchase
  • Certificate delivery has not been confirmed (either digital or physical)

2. Custom Software Development Services:

At HLICE, we understand that each software development project is unique. Our custom software development services are designed to meet your specific needs. We aim to provide flexible, collaborative, and high-quality solutions. However, since these services are tailored specifically to your requirements, we have a slightly different policy.

Refund & Revision Policy for Custom Software Development:

  • No Refunds Once Work Has Begun: Since our custom services are bespoke and often involve significant time and resources, we do not offer refunds once work on your project has started.
  • Refunds Before Work Begins: If we haven’t begun work on your custom software solution, you can request a refund up to 48 hours after your initial payment. After that, no refunds will be issued.
  • Project Milestones & Revisions: We provide two rounds of revisions during each project phase. Additional revisions may incur extra charges depending on the scope of work.
  • Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your custom software development project before completion, we will refund a portion of the paid amount based on the work already completed. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
